sehr verbreitet und akzeptiert, sodass es beispielsweise kaum eine Ausgabe des
Nachrichtenmagazins ,Der Spiegel‘ gibt, die nicht ein solches Bild zeigt.308 Auch die Bilder von der Explosion des Reaktors I in Fukushima im März 2011 kreisten als Pressefotos um die Welt und gingen letztlich auf Ausschnitte aus einem Überwachungsvideo zurück. Über den Publikationskontext wird diesen Bildern eine Beleg- und Beweisfunktion zugesprochen, auch wenn manchmal wie im Beispiel der Explosion des Reaktors von Fukushima wenig zu erkennen ist. Die Folge von vier Einzelbildern aus dem Video zeigt eine unscharfe Sicht auf das Atomkraftwerk. Zu erkennen sind drei Reaktorblöcke, der eine im Anschnitt am rechten Bildrand, sowie zwei der Kühltürme. Die Bildabfolge gibt Aufschluss über eine offenbar stattfindende Explosion, auf die allein die größer werdenden Rauchwolken verweisen (Abb. 22).
