When trying to download any updates

When trying to download any updates on turbo lister I keep getting the message:

'the api call 'get attributes xsl' is invalid or not supported in this release'

has anybody else had this message and what does it mean? I wait ages for turbo lister to show me any possible updates and in the end I get fed up and press cancel
